Ahla Wa’ Sahla
Welcome to Our Lady of Lebanon
I rejoiced with those who said
to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.” (Psalm 122: 1)
Our Lady of Lebanon
church was established in 1972 to serve the spiritual needs of
the Maronite Community of the greater Michigan area. The
ultimate purpose of our Church is to bring God’s people together
in our rich Maronite tradition to hear the Word of God, to share
our oneness in Jesus Christ through the Divine Liturgy (Mass)
and to fellowship around our rich Middle Eastern heritage.
Through our history, through our heritage and our continuation
of the ministry of Jesus Christ, we are “the house of the Lord”
and your church home!
Our Church is one of several missions and 54 parishes of the
Eparchy (diocese) of our Lady of Lebanon
under the direction & guidance
of Bishop Abdallah Zaidan
Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church and our sister parishes, St.
Maron, St. Rafka & St. Sharbel in Detroit serves the spiritual
needs of the faithful people in Michigan. However, we invite
anyone to join us who is seeking a relationship with the Lord.
“Ahla Wa Sahla!” Everyone is “welcome.” If you are not
attending church at the present time or if you would like to
experience Catholicism in a new and refreshing way through our
Eastern Rite, please give us a call. There is a place at Our
Lady of Lebanon Church for you and your family. For more
